For all you modernist architecture lovers out there: when in Ahmedabad, take a side step off the well-trodden tourist trail to visit the Indian Institute of Management designed by American architect Louis Kahn. A nice counterpoint to the stunning havelis and 15th century mosques that can be found around the city as well as the more famous Ahmedabad Textile Mills’ Association building by Le Corbusier.
